Covid 19 has become a Tagline for Bollywood “Bass Naam hi kafi hai”.(Just the mention of it’s name is enough)

This virus has dominated over the entirety of mankind. It overlooked the boundaries of caste, creed, religion and race as it spread misery. Don’t you think this is indication of something??

The existence of the Covid-19 virus led to a spur of publishing as the media was one of the industries which may have profited in this recession.

A series of articles issued by governmental and non-governmental organisations have made their presence felt on the Internet.

It’s a Novel virus (New) so we cannot predict how its behaviour may transform mankind .Yet just like the Prometheus we may find hope hidden in Pandora’s box as scientists, bureaucrats, economists, literate and illustrators are attempting to use their Grey matter to figure it out.

However the evolution of society has accelerated and it cannot be terminated. Our only contribution can be by following the medical protocol stringently.

Covid – 19 virus affects different people in different ways. Most infected people will develop mild to moderate illness and recover without hospitalization.

Most common symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Dry cough
  • Less common symptoms:
  • Aches and pains
  • Sore throat
  • Diarrhoea
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Headache
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • A rash on skin
  • Discolouration of fingers or toes

Now let’s glance at the other side of the spectrum

I want to ask certain questions.
  • What skills have we acquired during this lockdown due to the pandemic?
  • How have we tamed our mind and Body?
  • Are we prioritizing our health and mental well-being?
  • Are we spiritually more calm to tackle all situations?
  • Can limited means make us happy too?

I will not go far off into utopia.

I have been practicing nutritional consultation for the last 21 yrs. In this pandemic (lockdown) I channelized my energy in launching my website (which was pending for ages)with the help of a friend and family ,who were God sent.

The non-existence of time constraints pushed me to finish my blogs, compiling Data of innumerable clients, searching for testimonials (which were enormous). I count them as blessings.

Got amazing response from family, friends and well wishers across the seven seas.

I’m full of gratitude towards the Almighty.

This pandemic enabled me to adapt and overcome the boundaries of the virtual world. Sharpened my skills.

Being in the fitness industry I practice what I preach but always wanted to learn yoga so had time to myself to find peace within me. So I reached my goal .Again where there is will there is a way.

Being an avid reader, I got back to my reading passion.

Did some certifications  too.

This pandemic  taught us life is too short to sit and crib.

All holy books  Gita,  Guru Granth Sahib, Quran, Bible  propagate the same  values “love thyself”.

These are the theories and Covid is the practical.

So Wake up people  “Better late than never “.

Find the spot which allures  you.

The one which brings a broad smile.

Search that quest and  follow your passion.

The Funda of life is to create your own sparkle.

It’s not undemanding. But trust me all of us can do it.

Your cooking, baking , cleaning ,gardening etc  all cognitive skills  are  very useful  for a happy mental state.

Pandemic or Nature’s Law are simple. It clearly  defines that Health comes first both physically and mentally.

 For physical health

  • Eat colorful seasonal vegetables.
  • Include seasonal local  Exotic fruits are not super food. Eat local, think global.
  • Hydrate your self. No detox  water. clean water is sufficient.
  • Consume variety of grains.
  • Stay away from processed
  • Night is to sleep, not to explore the virtual world.

Maintain Safety Protocol:

  • Wear your mask when you go outside.
  • Wash your hands with soap frequently.
  • Maintain a distance of 6 feet.
  • Avoid crowded places

Don’t you think these are simple rules? Not rocket science.

Common people take charge of yourself and your life.

It’s always about the journey not the destination.

Make your journey witty, playful, happy and prosperous.
